7. Would you like your business reviewed on this website?

Yes, you can get your business reviewed by Baywatcher.nz and be featured on this website. You should be aware though that I will only ever write my honest opinion – or else this website will lose its credibility.

Eat and Explore sections:

You would need to provide me with your activity/food/whatever it is you want me to review – because I can’t write about it if I haven’t experienced it!. This would be at your cost. A voucher or post-purchase refund would be the best way of doing this; I want to have a normal, incognito, experience – just like anyone else would.

The writing fee would be based on the time taken to do the activity, plus the writing time.

I reserve the right to turn down the opportunity to review certain business types, if I know I wouldn’t enjoy it. Because that wouldn’t be fair to your business. 🙂

Included in the price: Facebook posts and Tweets with a link to the review, once it’s published. Plus you would own the copyright of any photos I take, so you can use them in any other marketing materials.

Shop section (coming soon):

I’d come to you, interview you, and take photographs, which I’d then write up in an article for Baywatcher.nz.

Included in the price: Facebook posts and Tweets with a link to the review, once it’s published. Plus you would own the copyright of any photos I take, so you can use them in any other marketing materials.

If you can live with an honest review, please drop me a line at cornelia@fxmarketing.co.nz and we can take it from there. 🙂

Please note that I don’t accept submitted articles – all the content on Baywatcher.nz is written by myself.

8. “Can you share my Facebook/Twitter post?”

Sorry, but I generally only share stuff on social media that I personally find interesting, or have written myself. It’s just too awkward to promote a band I’ve never heard play, or a rally/protest where I don’t believe in the cause, or a sport I don’t like (as examples). Integrity is important!

Instead, consider posting your message in one of the local Facebook groups, e.g. Kerikeri Noticeboard, the Opua Noticeboard, the Paihia Noticeboard, or the Northland Grapevine.

9. Stock photographs

My photographs are for sale at leading stock photo libraries, including iStock, Shutterstock and Bigstock.

10. “Can I pick your brain?”

I get a lot of requests, like, “Can I run something past you?”, or “Can I bounce an idea off you?”.

And sometimes it’s not worth you investing in a Marketing Consultation (see No. 7, above).

So if you’d like a private, one-on-one brain-picking type of call, the rate is NZ$2.50+GST per minute. Email me at cornelia@fxmarketing.co.nz to arrange a mutually-convenient time.

PS. Not sure if it’s worth hiring me?

Here are some words from a client:

“This year 42% of our sales have come from our website – but before Cornelia made the tweaks, the website wasn’t really working for us”

“I’d previously never used a copywriter or marketing consultant as it seemed that this would be money down the drain, as I could do this job myself. How wrong was I.

Recently, during the process of entering some industry awards, Cornelia stripped out the statistics of our marketing dollar and the return it was getting (or not getting). Suffice to say I didn’t sleep well that night!

Her tweaking of our website copy has meant that we’ve terminated our SEO company and website visits are now organically high at zero monthly cost! In fact, so far this year, 42% of our sales have come from the website – whereas before Cornelia made the tweaks, the website wasn’t really working for us.

Cornelia is also very website savvy so minor link breakages and general website maintenance she has been able to do for us.

Cornelia is like a Swiss watch! You NEVER have to chase her up on anything, if she says it will be done, then I know that it will. She uses her gently-gently approach to nudge and prod me to get my side of the deal done so we can meet agreed deadlines.

Her invoices are very detailed and almost down to the last 5 minutes; I have never had to question any time charges from her. In an industry of scammers and bogus consultants, she is a gem.

I’d say people have their own specialist areas, and some are Jack of all trades. But, if you want to fast-track your business, then you need a specialist, not Jack. You can spend hours or days learning about all this stuff, or you can concentrate on your core business and let someone else take the heartache away at a reasonable cost.”

Go on, what are you waiting for?!
